Giessen Car Crash: A Shocking Incident at a Bus Stop

According to the police, a man crashed into two vehicles at an intersection before hitting a bus stop in Giessen. A 32-year-old man drove his car into a bus stop in Giessen, located 50 kilometers (31 miles) north of Frankfurt, on Monday afternoon, injuring at least four people, one of whom was seriously hurt. According to the police, an Azerbaijani national residing in Giessen had previously collided with two other vehicles at a junction before driving into the bus stop shortly after. He only stopped after driving a bit further and was then arrested.
A police spokesperson stated, "The exact circumstances of the incident are currently unknown and are under investigation," but they did not comment on whether it was an accident or intentional. The police have cordoned off the area.
