THE NEWSY POLLUTION BEHIND BREAD MAKING!!

This is absolutely shocking! Can you imagine? Some people don’t bother about their state of health any more and worse, they are not mindful about other people’s either! Bread is an essential commodity in Nigeria. I mean, we all eat bread. Whether sliced or unsliced, french bread, wheat or sweetened bread, white or brown.

Among the low class in Lagos Nigeria, the Agege bread is a very popular brand.

Agege bread is a local bread which is baked by low-cost bakers. But it is sad that some of these bakers have thrown caution into the wind. By this I mean that most of them do not do any hygiene check on their environment, or consider the health implication of the mode of baking this bread.

For example, I stumbled into a local bakery just the other day, located near a pit-toilet!!! It is so appalling to think these bread baked is what is eventually sold to the public. (Sigh).

I think ALL bread baked in Nigeria should begin to be given NAFDAC number for the good health of Nigerians! Or is there any other action that can be taken to check the practice of these local bakers? We need to think good health, for good wealth.

Okay, when next you decide to buy Agege bread, just remember where the bread must have been
baked!

CAN WE RE-WRITE THE NIGERIA STORY?

If I have my way I will rewrite the story of Nigeria. The country that has all the means to make life more interesting for Her citizens but yet the people weep to access basic amenities for a standard living. Our roads are not in good shape. what are we really talking about?

For instance, take a look at Apapa road where the trucks cause problem to other vehicle plying the road. This is so unpleasant to the health of the people, as they tend to go through stress everyday because the road is perhaps the only accessible way or the shortest cut to their various places of work.

How can we help make things better? How can we re-write the Nigeria story?

COME BACK MJ!

The King of Pop!

What do I make of you
Black Thursday…
Who has taken this
Greatest being away from me…
Leaving us alone in emptiness
Where we are condemned.

You started early…
You did what no one has ever done
You transform yourself
To another being
Even while you were still living

You predict your death?
Generation to come will
About your sudden departure.

You live your life the way you chose
No one know your plight
You served as a warning example to many
Even in death you were honored.
