My beautiful ladies- Mrs Grace Obanuso Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️ I know this holiday is usually about flowers and crushes and all that fun (and sometimes dramatic!) stuff, but today I want you to remember something more important: you are so deeply loved — not because of what you do, how you look, your grades, your talents, or how “grown up” you’re becoming — but simply because you are you. You are beautiful, you need no ones validation to make know that you are; you don’t have to say yes to every pressure, protecting your focus is protecting your peace. Let no man despise your youth, be an example of believers in character, words and charity Watching you grow into the young woman you’re becoming is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I see your strength. I see your kindness. I see the way you care about your friends, the way you think deeply about things, the way you try even when something feels hard. Even on the days when you doubt yourself, I hope you know I never doubt you. Growing up years can be exciting and confusing and wonderful and overwhelming all at once. As you figure out friendships, dreams, love, and who you want to be, I hope you always carry this truth in your heart: You are worthy of respect. You are worthy of kindness. You are worthy of a love that feels safe and steady and true. Don’t ever shrink yourself to fit someone else’s expectations. The right people in your life will celebrate your voice, your quirks, your laugh, your opinions, your big feelings, and your big dreams. You weren’t created to live small, refuse to shrink. You are made for more. No matter how tall you get, how independent you become, or how far you go in this world, you will always be my girl.
