The CEO of Lolar Shon Empire and Magazine, Mrs. Shonowo, provides additional details on the beginning of the adventure. These are her words from an interview with her.
I am Omolola Owogbile Shonowo, and I have three biological children in addition to numerous others.
I got into the entertainment industry 25 years ago as Miss Lekki Beach, Runner up Miss Spotless LASU, amongst others.
I have dabbled into all sectors of entertainment. Started as a makeup artist, dancer before becoming a publisher, it's exactly 15 years of being a publisher and 25 years of being in the entertainment sector.
I love fashion and thought it wise to put something out there...
I juggle been a wife, mother, and serial entrepreneur together, and one is not lacking for another. I do mostly what I fear most, I mean, projects that scare me excite me.
Well, that's why the magazine is a fashion fusion combination of lifestyle and fashion.
Lolar Shon showcase seasonal fashion fusion in the center of Lekki Lagos, and the event consistently features celebrities like Derele, Laura Ikeji, who is a close friend of Omolola.
The event includes top models and provides opportunities for emerging fashion designers/models in West Africa Nigeria. The Season 15 of Lolar Shon Fashion Fusion is scheduled for the 18th of May 2025 at Oriental hotel Victoria Island Lagos.
