I AM ME

I am me, a truth declared and known, Society breathes because I stand and live, I am me, a knowledge deep inside, Where strength and spirit constantly reside. I am the root, the earth from which life springs, I am the loom on which existence sings. "I am me," a truth I hold so deep, A silent promise the very stones keep. Society breathes because I stand tall, A pillar unseen, answering freedom's call. Without my form, the future fades to grey, "I am me," and that's enough to say. Invisible hands, a multitude I bear,The weight of expectations hangs in the air. A vast and endless task, relentlessly pursued, "I am me," misunderstood, yet imbued.
"Not supposed to compete," a Murmur decree, "Not supposed to hold power," denied to me. Positions barred, a glass ceiling above, Yet "I am me," move by unconditional love. In shadowed cultures, my voice unheard,A silent witness, a caged, songbird. Confined to the hearth, the kitchen's embrace, While male dominion defines time and space. My very being, controlled and possessed, My autonomy stolen, my spirit suppressed. But even in chains, a fire burns bright, "I am me," emerging into the light. Through trials and struggles, my spirit takes flight, Embracing the hardship, claiming my right. To be woman, complete, defined by my soul, "I am me," making myself whole.
I am woman, a force both strong and mild, I am woman, mother, sister, child.I am woman, and "I know who I am," A pillar of strength, a powerful, rising psalm. I am woman, forging in the flaming fire, Finding my voice, lifting spirits higher. I am me, the voice for countless lands, A mother of nations, with nurturing hands. I am me, a force that cannot be denied, A woman's spirit, soaring far and wide. Queendaline Schneider

I AM THINKING- POEM

The earth breathes deep, a secret held in stone, A future murmur where no blood is sown. Instead of forging blades to claim and break, Why not new nations, for goodness sake. Untapped potential sleeps beneath our feet, Resources slumber, waiting to be sweet. A thousand years ago, a vision grand, From ancient hands, wonders kissed the earth.
They built with purpose, reaching for the sky, And left behind a legacy that won't die. To lead, a sacred trust, not iron fist, An overseer's heart, a gentle tryst.
But cries now echo, born of needless pain, The poor afflicted, caught within the chain. A shift is brewing, a controlling tide, They seek to bind us, where we cannot hide.
Not just to rule, but hold us in their sway, And steal our future, every single day. So tell me friend, beneath this heavy sky, Don't you think it's time for us to think.
Don't you think the earth has room to grow. Don't you think a better seed to sow? Don't you think a future we can claim, Beyond this darkness, engraved in freedom's name.

My Dreams-Poem

The mountain looms, a project vast, A lifetime stretched, a future cast. But dreams matter. A whisper first, a nascent bloom, My dream, a seed within the gloom. Dreams matter, echoes in my soul, A guiding star, to make me whole.
Time and chance, a fickle pair, Yet hope remains, beyond despair. This mountain looms, a life's long quest, A burden seemingly, no time to rest.
Dreams matter still, a sacred vow, And I will follow, here and how. No helping hand, no borrowed grace, This path is mine, to run this race. A dream to build, a dream to be, This burning vision sets my spirit free. And I will follow it, relentlessly. I am enough, the knowledge deep, More than capable, my promise keep. Inspiration flickers, faint and low, A hidden ember, starts to glow. No hand will reach, no soul will guide, This is my journey, where I abide. I know I am capable, deep inside.
Beneath the mind, a yearning strong, To right the wrongs, to make things long A seed of joy, a hopeful gleam, My morrow's promise, in this dream. I can do it, the words take hold, A story written, brave and bold. I will do it, with strength and might, Dream matters, and I'll win the fight. I will sing the song, and dance to it No matter what, Dreams matters! I will sing, music of Harriette My great-grandmother, with wisdom hair.

New Year, New Beginnings; Cultivating Gratitude

I am grateful for today, the start of the new year (1.01.2025). A new year means a fresh start for everyone. Just like a sunrise, it brings a feeling of new beginnings. It's a moment to pause and reflect on our journey with thankfulness. We can think about the lessons we've learned, the challenges we've faced, and the blessings we've received, giving thanks to God for always being with us.
What a joy it is to see the first day of the new year! Our hearts should be filled with hope and excitement for the opportunities ahead, the new experiences that will help us grow, and the relationships that will strengthen. In this time of renewal, I express my heartfelt gratitude to God for the past and my ongoing thankfulness for this year, 2025. I wish all my dear friends and family a happy and successful 2025. Sleepless Scribbles Poem

All sleepless nights, the world asleep, My hand is a ready pen, secrets to keep. Under my pillow, it lies with grace, A pen that never sleeps, my thoughts embrace.
In shadows and whispers, I find my might, This pen is my weapon, my solace in fright. When loneliness beckons and darkness descends, With ink as my armor, the solitude bends. Writing, a journey, a spiritual flight, It brings forth the dawn from the depths of the night. Each stroke a reflection, a spark of the soul, My gift of inspiration, my heart’s steady toll.
I weave my dreams into words on the page, An unspoken story, a life’s quiet stage. In joy, I inscribe the light in my heart, In sorrow, I channel the shadows apart.
I write when I'm happy, in laughter I flow,I write when I'm down, letting feelings bestow. When hope starts to falter and doubts fill the air,I write, I release, I lay my soul bare.
So let the night linger, let silence remain,With pen poised and ready, I welcome the rain. For in every heartbeat, in every soft sigh, I find my voice rising, my spirit will fly.

Baby L. First Christmas: A journey of Love and Gratitude!

Christmas is a special time of year that brings happiness and warmth to many people around the world. It is a celebration of love, joy, and the connections that unite us, inviting everyone to enjoy its magical spirit. Christmas marks the birth of Jesus Christ. Spending Christmas with family is a touching reminder of the love and support we have, especially during this meaningful time. This year, I want to take a moment to thank all our friends and family who have shown us kindness since our daughter was born.
Your constant support and love have made this holiday season truly memorable. We received wonderful gifts from friends near and far; friends from the USA, Paris, Greece, and even a thoughtful German doctor who surprised us with gifts for our little girl. It fills my heart with joy to think of the generous spirit of those who have been with us. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my siblings, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and godmothers in Nigeria for their unwavering support. I also want to extend my thanks to my wonderful friends who have been there for me. A special mention goes to my dear friends in Germany, who took the time to prepare and bring me delicious meals during their visit. I will always cherish the kindness of my dear friend, Mrs. C. Omoruyi.
This Christmas was particularly joyful as we gathered at Grandma's house, surrounded by family who brought laughter and love. There’s something special about being with loved ones, sharing stories, and making lasting memories. As we celebrated, I felt so grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey. Your presence reminds me that we are never alone, and that family and friendship are what truly brighten this season.
As we wrap up this year, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May the upcoming year be filled with love, joy, and all the wonderful moments life can bring. Here’s to celebrating the spirit of the season and the amazing people who enrich our lives! Let us remember the true reason for this celebration. Celebrate Jesus Christ! God bless you all! See you in 2025. Whoever bless baby L. will be truely blessed in return God bless you all. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15
